Weight 13.35 g, diameter 38.5 mm

Obverse: Chinese Zhen Xing Tong Bao raise, excite, arouse action thrive, prosper, flourish Bao zhen = raise, excite, arouse action xing = thrive, prosper, flourish Pridmore: Money of the Impulse to prosperity company

Reverse: Arabic and Thai inscriptions (Arabic characters slightly blundered). Pridmore: Arabic Malay: negri singgura = City of Singgora Siamese: song khla = Singgora Metal: tin According to the information from a coin dealer, it is a private token (jokoh) issued in the province of Patalung (Phatthalung, southern Thailand) and used in Kelantan (Malaysia) and Thailand as private money in the 19th century.

  1. Bottom photo the script is Song Cheng Tong Bao 宋城通宝 means the cash coin 通宝 uses in Singapore 宋城. Reading is right-left-bottom-top. Is a nice tin coin. Congrats!
